Megan grew up in a lower income home with her mother who introduced her to music (her mother was also a music teacher). She experienced first-hand how music can help you through difficult times as she would immerse herself in her music to escape the realities of her life growing up (her father also left and moved when she was a teenager with no warning). She now loves teaching music to students as she knows how powerful a tool it can be to express and release emotions.
